Do I need a down payment?
Not always! Many of our members qualify for 100% financing, but if you’d like to make a down payment, we’ll work with you to customize your loan.
Are rates different for boats, RVs, and motorcycles?
Our rates are competitive for all types of recreation loans. We’ll help you choose the best term and rate based on what you’re financing, whether it’s a boat, RV, or motorcycle.
How long does it take to get approved?
Generally, approval is made one business day after the application and all required documents are received. Most members receive funding the same business day they are approved.
Do I need to be a member to apply?
No, anyone can apply for a recreation loan! If your loan is approved and funded, we’ll simply open a membership account for you at the same time. It’s quick, easy, and means you can start enjoying all the benefits of being a 1st University Credit Union member right away.
