69th Annual Meeting; Board Elections

Waco, Texas – March 25, 2025 — 1st University Credit Union held its 69th Annual Meeting of the membership on March 24. The meeting highlighted the successes of the past year and outlined the strategic direction for the years ahead.

The Nominating Committee’s candidates for the open Board seats were elected by acclamation:

  • Adonna Cook, retired from the Chemistry/Biochemistry Department at Baylor University, has been a member of the credit union since 1981. She has served on the Board of Directors since 2019.

     

  • Elizabeth Wallace, an accomplished leader with a strong background in community engagement and education, has been a member since 1997. She became an Associate Board Member in 2023 and was appointed to the Board in 2024 to fill the seat vacated by Sean McMahon.
